Hi, my name is Judith Meer, and I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy. As you know, some of the people who get COVID-19 become very sick, to the point that they are hospitalized, may need oxygen support, or even intubation and ventilation. These people may spend many days or weeks in the hospital before they are well enough to go home. Even if someone was not hospitalized, they may have been bedridden for quite some time or have other complications from the virus that are making it hard to return to normal life.

If you do not have access to physical therapy, if you are home and you are struggling, or watching a loved one struggle, if you are wondering where to start on your journey to recovery – these resources are for you. We hope they help. Hang in there.
